Doggy Day Care

Daycare is a fun, safe and secure environment for your dogs to play, learn and socialize with other dogs.  Here at the dog squad in Gorey your dog’s welfare and happiness will always come first.

Requirement’s for daycare

  • all dogs must have an assessment before they can start daycare.
  • all dogs must be over 12 weeks old to attend daycare.
  • all dogs over 6 months have to be neutered.
  • all dogs must be fully vaccinated including kennel cough.
  • all dogs should be on strict schedule for worming, tick and flea control.  also, nails should be kept trimmed.
  • we ask that you read the consent and waiver for and indicate your acceptance of the content before your dog starts daycare.
  • we do not accept any choke chains or prong collars at the dog squad.
  • every reasonable precaution is taken in our daycare to avoid injury resulting from dog play.  however just like a child in playground accidents happen.  we the dog squad accept no responsibility for injury resulting from time spent in daycare.  if a dog is injured during their time here we will take your dog to our vet for treatment however you as the owner will be responsible for the cost of treatment.  by enrolling your dog in the dog squad daycare facility, you are acknowledging and accepting this.

Here at the dog squad the driving force is and ALWAYS will be your dog’s welfare and happiness.  so therefore, we would like to make sure your dog is suitable for daycare.  daycare is not for every dog.  the dogs who benefit most from it are one those who are outgoing and playful.  dogs are social species but doesn’t mean all dogs get along with each other, just like the human world!

All dogs will require an assessment before starting daycare on personality and behavior to determine if he has potential to do well.
